A beach is Nature´s conversation with itself, a peaceful yet invigorating place; an imminently human space that allows us to be “in between”. While mountains, forest and deserts possess a grandeur wich is both imposing an overpowering, a beach is a domesticated setting. That is why beach homes present such a special set of challenges for architects, demanding that particular combination of environmental sensitivity and spatial awareness.
