Team coordination is not a new problem and there have been theories that have tried to tackle it. Implicit coordination behaviors is the latest development in this line of research. In particular, the theoretical roots of implicit coordination come from the streams of research: psychology and management. The first stream studies behaviors, knowledge based processes, knowledge patterns, knowledge based approach: the second stream of research focuses on the measurement and management of implicit coordination behaviors.
